The Childrens Center Supervisor supports the success of the Ski and Snowboard School through leading the childrens center guest services and sales teams. The ideal candidate is expected to build and promote a healthy and supportive culture of professionalism, business development, and technical excellence. This position reports to the Children Center Program Manager.
*Essential Job Functions *
Oversee assigned aspects of the daily operation of the ski and snowboard program for childrens center
Responsible for Buttermilk/Hideout sales and reservations point of sales desk daily operations, which includes: product sales and reservations, check in and check out, lesson ticket reconciliation and guest service
Serve as the guest direct contact for complaints, services, and other guest needs that transpire
Provides staff leadership and supervision of hosts, sales and reservations desk, childcare, rental area, transportation and other Hideout guest service staffing
Supports scheduling, timekeeping, providing feedback and staff coaching as needed
Establish effective lines of communication with other ASC departments
Collaborates with Buttermilk Sales and Reservations Coordinator to provide daily supervision of staff and process
Possess knowledge of all available products in order to field program inquiries, reservation requests, follow up, payment and pro and guests questions to ensure that all guests are provided with an exceptional experience
Knowledge to make sound decisions regarding the safety and wellbeing of children
Provide a secure, sanitized and safe environment for guests to leave their children
Understand mandatory reporting and proper communication for parents and staff
Provide administrative support to all of the Ski and Snowboard Schools, including compiling reports, providing feedback both positive and negative and general RTP support
Must be at least 21 years of age
Degree in Education or related field preferred
Working knowledge of State of Colorado Childcare licensing requirements
Experience working in Ski School and has RTP experience
Ability to speak Spanish or Portuguese is helpful
Past management or teaching experience preferred

Responsible for frequent and detailed review of work, training, interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Works under general supervision of Childrens Center Manager; receives continuing or individual assignments according to supervisors directions and may perform routine tasks. Expectations of the quality, quantity and deadlines are clearly set. Instructions, advice and assistance available as needed. Work is reviewed on demand or during scheduled check-ins with reporting manager.
Work Environment and physical demands
Ability to stand, walk or be on your feet for extended periods of time. Kneeling and bending may be required
Regularly work indoors with no adverse conditions. Some positions require exposure to outdoor elements or a combination of both indoors and outdoors and may be required to walk on slippery and uneven surfaces
Must be able to lift, push or pull 50 lbs. individually or with assistance
