Records Clerk

Are you a dedicated Records Clerk with a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of individuals in need? We have an exceptional opportunity for you to join our esteemed medical team, supporting the Influx Care Facilities (IFCs) located at the Southern Borders. 

As a member of our medical team, you will be at the forefront of delivering high-quality healthcare services to individuals in the Influx Care Facilities.  

 Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: 

• Providing direct patient care and medical services according to established protocols and standards. 

• Job Locations: Texas 

• The company covers travel and accommodation. 

Requirements: 

• Three professional references 

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Successful completion of a Medical Records Technician training program desirable, but not required. Associate’s degree in Health Information Management or Health Information Technology desirable, but not required. 

• Certification: Must hold a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Certified Electronic Health Records Specialist (CEHRS) certification is highly desirable. 

• Experience: Minimum of one (1)+ years of current experience as a medical records clerk in a clinic/hospital/medical office setting with demonstrated experience in web-based data entry systems, Microsoft Office, preparation, generation, and distribution of medical records, copying, scanning, faxing, and mailing medical records, and performing other duties as assigned. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish).

• Contract: W-2  

• Hours per week: 40 per week (this could alter pending on operational needs)
