Job Summary
Commercial Real Estate Development and Commercial Brokerage Company has job opening for Bookkeeper/Office Manager. Qualified and motivated individual will be responsible for working with accounts for the main company and several subsidiary (LLCs). Must have working knowledge of general ledger, journal entries, balance sheet and profit loss statements, bank reconciliations, payroll, strong knowledge of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Invoicing functions. Will maintain company and LLC financial records and compile information for accountant and tax preparation. Individual will also be responsible for daily oversight of general office duties and interactions with clients and guest.
General Duties
Checks figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes. Classifies, records, and summarizes numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records, using journals and ledgers or computers. Debits, credits, and totals accounts. Receives, records, and banks cash, checks and vouchers. Complies with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations. Compiles statistical, financial, accounting, or auditing reports and tables of cash receipts, expenditures, accounts payable and receivable, and profits and losses. Reconciles or notes and reports discrepancies found in records. The company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time. Maintain general office procedures to include oversight of general office operations.
Job Qualifications
Education: Associates degree+, Bachelor’s degree Preferred
Experience: 3+ years with in an office environment with accounts receivable/ accounts payable/ reconciliation/ and general ledger experience; or equivalent of education and experience.
Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. General office and bookkeeping knowledge. Math and reasoning, Accuracy, Attention to detail, Critical thinking, Time management skills. Ability to multitask in a busy environment
