Job Description

Position: National Account Manager, BioRidge - Generics (West Coast Territory)

Department: BioRidge

Reports To: National Sales Director

Primary Function:

Prospect new targets, maintain existing book of business and perform quarterly reviews for current customers.

Job Scope and Major Responsibilities:

  • Territory covers CA, AZ, OR, UT, CO, WY, WA, ID, and MT
  • Identify prospective customers through referrals, organization membership and conference/trade show attendance.
  • Focus on driving growth among IDNs, Specialty Pharmacies and existing accounts
  • Act as a direct feedback loop to National Sales Director regarding marketplace dynamics
  • Cold call and prospect new account opportunities
  • Account development and planning through identification of individual business account model
  • Prepare business reviews for BioRidge Accounts and maintain strategic relationships
  • Execute a customer-centric need based selling approach with all accounts
  • Produce revenue for the company while achieving or exceeding assigned target goals.
  • Promote new HUB programs as they become available
  • Utilize all sales and marketing reports as value added services to enhance opportunities for our pharmacy providers

Performance Criteria:

Success in the role is defined by the signing of new members and up-sell/implementation of new programs. Metrics include revenue and sales reporting data supplied by Membership.

Required Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree
  • Candidate must have exemplary communication, organizational and time management skills.
  • Prior experience in generic pharmaceuticals and/or wholesaler experience highly desired.
  • Must be able to travel 75% of time with overnight trips weekly
  • Highly motivated and able to work independently.
  • Experience collaborating with both internal and external resources to develop strategies that meet department goals within budget and established timelines.
  • Experience working with C-suite Executives
  • Previous/Existing relationships with IDN’s, Specialty Pharmacies and Cancer Centers
  • Competent in use of Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
