  • Assist Engineers/Scientists with the establishment, revisions and improvements to manufacturing methods and procedures
  • Ordering small parts
  • Design, modify, and document fixtures
  • Writing change orders and deviations.
  • Assist in failure analysis, troubleshooting, rework/repair of non-conforming manufactured product to determine root cause.
  • Perform tests, gather data, and write results/reports with assistance from Engineering, utilizing various types of equipment.
  • Tensile testing
  • Mechanical measurement with micrometer and caliber
  • Visual inspection with magnification
  • Weighing using a balance
  • Measuring voltage and current using a digital multimeter
  • Enter data into EXCEL
  • Calculate average and standard deviation of data
  • Assist with installation, qualification, and validation of new equipment and processes; Assist with validation of processes in the production area following the established validation procedure.
  • Write and execute feasibility studies, lab notebook studies
  • Following IQ/OQ/PQ protocol
  • Following process verification protocols
  • Read schematics, assembly drawings, data sheets, and process sheets to perform testing, build fixtures, checkout and trouble-shoot equipment.
  • Write and execute feasibilities, lab notebook protocols/reports
  • Following IQ/OQ/PQ protocol
  • Identify and troubleshoot process, material, or equipment problems to minimize down time and recommend solutions to Engineering.
  • Complete time studies to quantify processing times and identify areas for process improvements.
  • Routine maintenance of facilities and capital equipment
  • Perform routine pilot manufacturing of products. Complete manufacturing records in accordance with procedures.
  • Ensure and maintain compliance with the company's quality system requirements through training and adherence to policies, procedures and processes.
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Experience working with mechanical and electrical parts.
  • This person should be comfortable with analytical balances, vortexing, and magnetic stir plates.
  • Experience with hand radio operators or radio controls a plus.
  • Ability to troubleshoot.
