We are currently seeking a qualified Design Technician who is self-motivated and ready to contribute to the future success of Ascent. We want the candidate for the Design Technician to become an integral part of our team! Ascent Engineering Group is a consulting engineering and design company specializing in the disciplines Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and Information Technology Systems for K-12 educational facilities, higher education facilities of all types, health care facilities, commercial buildings, animal care facilities, retirement facilities, and local governments.
Responsibilities
- Assisting engineers with system design, including take-offs, data entry, pipe and duct routing, power distribution, lighting, and layouts.
- Redline corrections to drawings
Qualifications
- Two year degree is strongly desired
- Previous working experience with Revit
