Join our team in a part time, daytime, 20 hour per week MEDICAL ASSISTANT role at our Ascension All Saints Family Health Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. We are looking for someone with availability to work the hours of the clinic are 0700 to 1630 to play an active role in our Family Medicine Residency Program.

We are a family medicine residency program. The medical assistant's job would be primarily assisting physicians in rooming patients, drawing blood, performing nursing procedures, etc. We educate medical school graduates who then qualify for board certification as family physicians. Family medicine encompasses all ages from pregnancy through old age. There are 24 physicians in the practice. The candidate would be working with most. In a day, they would see up to 25 patients.

What You Will Do
As an associate with Ascension All Saints, you will have the opportunity to assist with the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician.
+ Assists with treatments ordered by physician as supervised by physician or registered nurse.
+ Performs select clinical duties.
+ Interviews patients, measures vital signs, and records information on patients' charts.
+ Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients.
+ Performs basic clerical duties including answering the phone, maintaining records, and filing.
+ Performs basic materials management functions to include ordering and stocking of supplies.
+ Assists with maintaining a clean and orderly environment.
What You Will Need
+ Required Credential(s):
+ BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 2 Months (60 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
+ High school diploma or GED required
+ Experience in healthcare strongly preferred.
+ Experience working as a Medical Assitant preferred.
