Associate Director, Market Research Insights

This role will work in the Commercial Operations and Analytics Department and will report to the Director of Market Research Insights.
In this role, the candidate would have the following primary responsibilities:
+ Lead primary market research for the US launch of SKYTROFA, for pediatric growth hormone deficiency, as well as help on special market research projects for pipeline therapies.
This person will have the following skills and/or responsibilities:
+ Ability to review and distill large reports into the highest level one slide summary of key insights and implications so that Marketing and the Organization have a clear understanding of the “What” and “So What” regarding each market research project.
+ Advise marketing and other areas of the organization proactively by making recommendations based on market research data as well as making hypotheses based market research data
+ Curate and maintain a working file of the product situation analysis of key insights and implications which is to be leveraged yearly during the Brand Planning process and at key strategic meetings throughout the year
+ Track performance and health of SKYTROFA launch including HCP Awareness Trial Usage Study, Hub Performance, Message Recall, Consumer Awareness Tracker
+ Conduct market research project to create or update SKYTROFA promotional materials
+ Create and manage the budget for the SKYTROFA primary market research plan
+ Work closely with the Secondary Market Research Team to ensure that you tell the “larger story” by fitting the primary market research insights with secondary data
+ Present findings and recommendations to all levels of management
+ Proactively recommend market research project solutions to key ad hoc marketing questions as well as recommend project plan options with different timing, cost, data robustness levels
+ Ability to multi-task and manage several projects in different stages of completion and different vendors
+ Effectively translate marketing needs to market research projects
+ Educate market research vendors and partner with them so they can bring their best work forward to help the company
+ Ability to formulate and communicate a clear point-of-view with continual refinement with the input of more insights
+ Strong project management skills and organization skills so always clear on the next steps as well as how timelines change if key milestones not met by the team
+ Ability to think on feet and participate in the topic at hand in meetings
+ B.S or B.A in Business or Science with 8+ years in a market research or strategic planner role in a pharmaceutical company or advertising agency or other industry in a market research capacity
+ MBA preferred but not required if can demonstrate strength in primary market research
+ Experience in a smaller biotech/pharmaceutical company/other company preferred
+ Passion for leveraging data to make informed decisions that impact corporate goals
+ Personality that enjoys a high energy work atmosphere
+ Demonstration of market research projects led with corresponding examples of how the project impacted decision making for the company or brand
