Project Manager

General contractor has an opening for an experienced residential construction Project Manager. We are an established high-end custom residential contractor with projects located from San Francisco to the South Peninsula.  LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY

The Project Manager will manage multiple projects with varying budgets. Experience in home construction management or hands on home construction experience is mandatory. Anyone without construction experience will not be considered. This position works with the office, clients, architects and designers and reports directly the the General Contractor overseeing the project. Excellent communication skills are necessary and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously is a must. Must be able to prioritize tasks and have good time management skills.

Computer literacy is a MUST - Knowledge of Microsoft Office - Specifically Excel

We are looking for someone who is local to the Bay Area and is familiar with navigating the building process in San Francisco and the Peninsula.

The Project Manager is responsible for

• Assisting with estimating and bidding. This includes contacting subcontractors and vendors for quotes for varying services and goods.
• Preparing project schedules
• Staying informed with costs and the project budget and assisting with cost options as needed
• Creating change orders
• Communication with all parties via email, zoom and site meetings
• Able to comprehend architectural plans.
• Research of construction and build materials.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Communicating information from the office to the field and to subs.
• Troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Purchasing, tracking and receiving of build materials.
• Willing to do what is needed

Our office is located in South San Francisco but be prepared to travel the peninsula. Our projects may be anywhere in or between San Francisco to Portola Valley.
