Overview
ARSIEM is currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The position will support one of our Government clients in Ft. Meade, MD.

What you will do:

• Formulate and define system scope and objectives for programs.
• Responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.
• Work at the highest technical level of all phases of applications, systems analysis and programming activities, including the installation of enhancements, security features, and analytical tools.
• Understand the mission function for which the application is designed.
• Provides guidance and training less experienced coworkers.

What you will have:

• Must have experience with JavaScript,JQuery,Java, MongoDB
• Experience with one or more: D3 Libraries,Boostrap, Backbone
• Must be experienced in developing RESTful web services
• Familiarity with Linux environments
• Previous experience working on an agile scrum team and the ability to adhere to agile methodologies

Required:

• Four years in increasingly complex and progressive experience as a Software Engineer in performing systems analysis, development, and implementation of software systems
• Development and design of application software for prototyping, production, and architecture products

Desired:

• Six years in increasingly complex and progressive experience as a Software Engineer in the DOD/IC
  • Systems analysis, development, and implementation of software systems
  • Development and design of application software for prototyping, production, and architecture products
  • Software management, design, development, flow analysis, detailed design data flow diagrams, structure charts, and PDLs for each module of the software system
• Experience in high-level programming languages and software programming to include four years of experience in five of the following specializations:
  • UNIX or Windows experience in software development
  • Programming languages including C, C++ , Java, Perl, and object-oriented development
  • Graphical user interfaces
  • Database management
  • Communications protocols/networks
  • Database development (object-oriented or relational)
  • Web technologies such as JavaScript, XML and J2EE
  • Business object modeling
  • Systems interfacing
• NTOC Experience
• Agile or SW Prototype Development
• Bachelor's degree in an Information Technology related field, such as computer engineering, computer science, math, or physics from an accredited college or university.
