Arrow Nationwide Ground Logistics (ANGL) is invested in the motorcoach industry as a brand of Arrow Stage Lines. ANGL utilizes a vetted network of carriers to quickly provide customers with the best group ground transportation solutions wherever they travel.

The National Sales Manager/Business Development is responsible for developing and maintaining customers' needs for managed motorcoach transportation across the nation. This is a commission sales position and can be worked remotely, once training has been completed.

Primary Functions

  • Responsible for meeting sales goals through researching organizations and individuals to create and follow new sales leads and convert to sales. Visit potential clients and sell our services. Also handles incoming customer inquiries, quotes, and orders via the telephone, fax, email, and walk-in customers.
  • Seeking and establishing prospective opportunities and converting sufficient prospects to meet strategic business plans. Will be working in the field a minimum of one to two days per week, more when required or necessary.
  • Present for onsite assistance or coordination with clients on large or significant events for client support, if requested and compensated.
  • Develops ways to improve the customer experience and build brand loyalty. Provides excellent customer service, while maintaining clear and open communication.
  • Books charter reservations using Coach Manager System. Responsible for procuring and contracting motorcoach service from companies across the nation. Answers questions about services in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Informs customers of routes, pricing, federal DOT laws, etc.
  • Requests and reviews submitted itineraries for charters to ensure all trips are within the federal DOT laws prior to departure.
  • Make efficient, smart, professional decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Procures and files a COI from all vendors naming Arrow Nationwide Ground Logistics as additionally insured, if there is not a COI in the current file.
  • Verifies all charters have signed contracts, prepayments or purchase orders, itineraries, and are confirmed three days prior to departure.
  • Computes pricing for revisions, refunds, cancellations, and damage deposits.
  • Processes charter invoices ensuring they are complete and entered properly according to policy and procedure. Responsible for mailing out invoices three weeks in advance of the trip.
  • Establishes and maintains positive rapport with customers/motorcoach operators and vendors. Becomes familiar with our customers and vendors.
  • Creates and mails thank you cards to clients.
  • Responsible for handling confidential information on a frequent basis.
  • Prepares and maintains records as required. Files charter hard copies and acceptance sheets.
  • Prepares computerized reports as requested by management.
  • Complies with company scheduled hours.
  • Works in excess of normal working hours as workloads and seasonal activities are encountered.
  • Complies with company and safety policies and procedures.
  • Contributes to process improvement on a regular basis.


JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education

Communications, Marketing or Business Degree preferred

Experience

1-2 years sales/marketing experience. Customer Service experience may also be considered if it includes quoting experience.

  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of Arrow Stage Lines' products, services, and fleet
  • Ability to quickly and efficiently respond to client requests via email, phone, cell phone, or text
  • Ability to efficiently multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively, while paying attention to detail and meeting deadlines
  • Self-motivated and self-directed
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products (including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point). Willingness to learn new software programs as needed in a timely manner.
  • Must have a clear concept of how to reconcile/balance an account
  • Ability to travel on occasion
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to pay attention to the minute details of a project or task
  • Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly

  • Interest in the travel industry, athletics, production touring, and managed transportation.
