Roles and Responsibilities
The Service Department Assistant Manager will be responsible to assist the manager with all aspects of the department, which includes customer relations, bidding projects and project management.
Duties include the following but are not limited to:
- Layout and Assistance with Job Coordination
- Print Take-offs
- Bid Prep
- Job Walk-Throughs
- Job Preparation
- Job Submittals
- Material Prep (Pre-Fab)
- Arc Flash and IR Reports
- Customer Relations
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
High School Diploma
Associates Degree Electrical Field or Basic Electrical Knowledge
Valid Driver’s License
This job operates in an office setting but may require some traveling and site visits. Standard workweek is Monday – Friday, 40 hours a week and with overtime as needed. Must be available to work off-hours in case of emergencies and during holidays and weekends for shutdowns, if needed.
This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. Individual must be willing to learn new software programs: Conest, Procore, and Foundation.
This is largely a sedentary role. However, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.

Knowledgeable in Materials, Methods, Tools and Equipment
