Website Content Support Manager

Arrow Alliance Industries is currently seeking highly qualified applicants interested in joining our team of professionals to provide support to the Bureau of Indian Education (BIE).

The BIE provides support for the education of Native American Indian children in grades K-12 throughout 183 BIE-managed and tribally-controlled schools, and two Native American colleges. The Strategic Transformation of Education Plan (STEP) is an initiative to provide support and resources for students, teachers, and BIE-managed and Tribally-controlled schools.

The Website Content Support Manager is responsible for working with the organization to manage content across all organization websites. Their duties include coordinating and assisting each organization with content management while working directly with the Creative Content Creator and other team members to ensure that content changes are current and fresh. While not acting as a Web Designer / Engineer, they will have access to the backend system to add, change, delete or modify organizational content as required.


  • Create, develop and manage content for organization's web presence
  • Coordinate web projects across the organization
  • Maintain a consistent look and feel for all content
  • Copyedit and proofread all web content
  • Ensure content is 508 compliant
  • Work with writers, copy editors, and school outreach team members
  • Keep current with emerging web technologies through relevant blogs, listservs, and events
  • Assure web-based information is archived for future needs and reference
  • Work cooperatively with key team members, clients, and vendors

Required Skills:

  • 3 years of experience in content management.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
  • Advanced knowledge of HTML and experience with popular content management systems (Drupal, Convio, Kintera, etc.)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Basic Adobe Photoshop skills
  • Proven ability to build consensus and work effectively within a cross-departmental team
  • Experience managing content and production for high-traffic websites
