Responsibilities
Aromyx needs quota-carrying professionals to develop new and existing business within their territory. Specifically, we are looking to hire Senior Sales professionals to coordinate with our inside lead development professionals and marketing teams to target, qualify and close new business. Senior Sales professionals will also need to work with Aromyx project managers on managing existing projects and growing business with current customers in their territories. Field Sales Representatives will report to the VP Sales and Marketing. You will sell to R&D, business units and sales and marketing organizations within multibillion-dollar companies. Top priorities include:
  • Win and retain new accounts
  • Build new wins into larger deals and recurring revenue
  • Identify value drivers for customers and position Aromyx offerings
  • Grow long-term sustainable customer relationships
  • Generate and manage opportunity pipeline with team to achieve our growth plans
Field Sales Representatives will report to the VP Sales and Marketing.

Your professional profile includes:
  • Track record of making sales and closing new customers
  • Experience selling complex technology or software in a B2B environment
  • Complex sales experience either directly to R&D departments or in which R&D staff are influencers of the sale
  • At least 4 years successful quota-carrying sales experience in food & beverage, CPG, pharmaceutical or related industry
  • Negotiation skills, and ability to negotiate pricing and deal terms
  • Verbal and written command of the English Language
  • Comfort in sales processes that involve concepts related to biology, biochemistry or biotechnology.


Requirements
Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
Track record of making sales and closing new customers
Experience selling complex technology or software in a B2B environment
Complex sales experience either directly to R&D departments or in which R&D staff are influencers of the sale
Minimum 4 years successful quota-carrying sales experience in food & beverage, CPG, pharmaceutical or related industry
Although the position will manage a significant installed base, candidate must be comfortable as a Hunter doing cold calls
Currently reside in or willing to move to a US state in the Western Region
Bachelor’s degree in business or relevant area, or biology, biochemistry or biotechnology
