**About the Position:** This position is located in the
Tank-Automotive and Armament Command (TACOM) Field Support
Operations, Fleet Management Expansion, Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri.

### Responsibilities

- Complete and maintain stock records for parts and tools.
- Maintain documents for justifications when ordering/issuing
supplies and performing semi-annual inventories of stock.
- Perform calibrations using required calibrations labs.
- Handle and turn-in of hazardous waste and materials.
- Operate a motor vehicle to include 1/2 ton pickup truck, light
trucks and other vehicles weighing up to and including 5 tons on
highways.
- Operate a 6,000 pound forklift to load and unload items off
another vehicle.

### Conditions of Employment

- This position requires the employee drive a motor vehicle. An
appropriate, valid driver's license is required and must be
maintained for the position.
- Incumbent will have to pass a pre-employment physical to meet
physical efforts requirements. This position may require an
annual physical or medical surveillance examination.

the work of this position without more than normal supervision.

Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work
of a(n) Tools and Parts Attendant (Motor Vehicle Operator/Fork Lift
Operator)~ without more than normal supervision. I have the ability
to perform common operator preventive maintenance used to support
the repair of equipment within a consolidated maintenance repair
shop. I can (1) handle and turn-in of hazardous waste and
materials; (2) operate a 6,000 pound forklift to load and unload
items off another vehicle; and (3) operate a motor vehicle to
include 1/2 ton pickup truck, light trucks and other vehicles
weighing up to and including 5 tons on highways. Failure to meet
this Screen out Element will result in an ineligible rating.


You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in
the following areas:

**PHYSICAL EFFORT:** Performs work on hard surfaces. Work requires
almost continuous standing, walking, stooping and bending.
Frequently lifts and carries items up to 70 pounds and occasionally
heavier items normally with handling equipment and/or other workers
available to assist.

**WORKING CONDITIONS:** Work is generally performed in well-lighted,
heated and ventilated area which occasionally is drafty. Work is
sometimes dirty, dusty and greasy. Is frequently exposed to
possibility of cuts, scrapes and bruises.
