LOGISTICS SUPERVISOR

The (Associate) Logistics Supervisor, supervises the receiving, material handling, and shipping operations in the USA, providing the support for implementing the controls and procedures necessary to facilitate superior warehouse management, customs requirements, and traffic control.
Shift: 1st shift anywhere between 6-7AM-2:30-4:30PM
Pay rate: $26.72/hr. +OT
In addition to annual initiatives, the key accountabilities of this position are:
Distribution Management
- Ensure Excellent Customer Experience
- 100% of orders picked shipped daily
- Co-develop systems for Parts same-day shipping with 5 pm order cut-off time
- Co-develop systems for automated LN system receiving inventory from Interco shipment point (auto receive & inventory)
- Schedule and coordinate all product distribution
- Coordinate all domestic and international shipments
- Coordinates all intercompany distributions including international shipments to all locations.
- Recommends needs for expansion of routes and schedules.
Team Leadership
- Supervise logistics team; delegate work, supports team regarding developing skills and meeting goals; train, will provide input and feedback for evaluating logistic team.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with company processes.
- Backup when the Logistics manager is out
Policies and Procedures
- Provide support in developing and documenting standard operating procedures.
- Provides supports to maintain compliance to ISO 9001 and 14001 certifications.
Administrative and Customer Support
- Make recommendations to management related to department as well as transportation aspects company wide
- Respond to shipping complaints, lost items and damages
- Ensure all shipments are compliant with interstate traffic laws/regulations.
Role Requirements
- College graduate or equivalent.
- years of experience supervising a fast-paced warehouse.
- Previous experience as a supervisor, team lead/coordinator or relevant position
- Experience in industry procedures.
- Creative problem-solving skills.
- Strong, team-oriented leadership skills with presence and a bias for action.
- Self-directed with ability to work autonomously and collaboratively and a focus on results.
- Ability to communicate in an open and authentic manner in all situations
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and ERP
