### Summary

The Aerostructures Branch at Armstrong Flight Research Center is
currently seeking interested applicants for the position of an
Engineer Project Manager. The Engineer Project Manager will serve as
the Asset and Project Manager for the Flight Loads Laboratory (FLL)
which includes Facility Management. Duties involve project
management of structural test projects, sub-projects, or tasks that
are moderate in scope and complexity and/or have moderate risk.

### Responsibilities

- The position manages significant elements or phases of
moderately complex projects that support major NASA functions,
programs, or projects.
- Applies project management techniques to manage diverse
activities, which require integration directed toward meeting
project objectives.
- Project activity phases include advocacy, project formulation,
execution, reporting, and closeout.
- Coordinates with other NASA Centers, partnering with other
Federal Agencies and supporting organizations to assure
research/testing supporting the project is performed in a timely
manner that the test activity provides data required by the
customer.
- Serves as an expert consultant on broad projects and programs
with agency impact.
- Directs and manages budget and resource planning activities for
projects with an agency or cross-agency scope and impact.

### Qualifications

Applicants must have at least one year (52 weeks) time in grade at
the GS-13 grade level to be eligible for GS-14 consideration.

Applicant must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to
the next lower grade (GS-13), which has equipped the applicant with
the particular competencies needed to successfully perform the
duties of the position described above.

**Qualification Requirements for the GS-14:**

Applicant must have one year of professional, directly related
specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level in the Federal
service in leading engineering (mechanical, aerospace or
electrical/electronic) teams AND experience in overseeing project
research and testing activities.

**In order to qualify for this position you must meet Basic
Education Requirement**

Basic Education Requirement: A bachelor's degree from an accredited
college or university with major study in engineering, physical
science, mathematics, life sciences, computer science, or other
field of science. Degrees in engineering technology are not
considered to be qualifying for this position.

determine if the basic education requirements are met.

You will be evaluated for this job based on how well you meet the
