Job Description

As a member of ASAP’s Program Team, you’ll be at the core of our impact, helping us build a creative community where veterans find purpose, belonging, and self-expression through the arts. Working out of the DC Metro Area, you will produce and coordinate ASAP's performances in stand-up comedy, improv, storytelling, and more.

YOUR PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performer Coordination — Recruit, confirm, and coordinate with ASAP's comedians, storytellers, improvisers, and more. Lead a weekly rehearsal show to prepare the performers. Ensure all performers stay within ASAP's content guidelines.

  • Live-Stream Management — Push the buttons to broadcast our shows and resolve technical issues as needed, primarily using Zoom and Wowza (no experience with Wowza required; training will be provided).

  • Venue Coordination — When in-person events resume, communicate with venue contacts to ensure a smooth set-up and tear-down for all performances.

  • Volunteer Management — Manage and delegate to ASAP's volunteers, who primarily support our shows through set-up/tear-down, ticketing, and merchandise sales.

  • You are passionate about community arts education and understand the impact of the arts as a vehicle for personal growth.

  • You love being at the center of the action and are energized by working with people and building community.
