This position is responsible for the day-to-day support of all IT systems, business systems, office systems, computer networks, and telephony systems throughout the hotel / resort.

Additionally responsible for Information Technology issues, products, and services at the property. Provides user training and support of all property/site systems, network enhancements, hardware and software support. Also maintains inventory of all hardware products and software licenses, and reviews maintenance agreements.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:
Responsible for overseeing and providing technical support for all systems including but not limited to: network infrastructure, Servers, Workstations, Networking equipment, and support for the underlying server/desktop infrastructure in conjunction with third party IT support

Works in conjunction with Director of IT to ensure proper execution of IT systems and departments on specific related IT functions

Responsible for smooth functioning and co-ordination of vendors for Guest Internet, Property Management Systems - PMS, Point of Sale - POS, IPTV, Telephony systems and other software vendors

Responsible to ensure that IT Audit points/checklist are implemented as per relevant Standard operating Procedures.

Prepare & Implement Preventive Maintenance Schedule for all IT hardware & Software.

Support implementation of software and hardware upgrades

Manage all data as a secure asset, responsible for systems and network security, disaster recovery, and business continuity. Ensuring regular daily backup is taken

Testing, troubleshooting, and adjusting information systems to operate effectively

Supervising daily operations of network and server infrastructure

Monitors and maintains proper inventory of hardware and software license

Knowledge of network infrastructure, including CAT5/6 cabling, wireless networks, network switches, WAN/LAN, domain controller, Active Directory, firewall and VPN applications

Administration of Email Systems/Provider (Office 365)

Management of software maintenance/updates (Windows, Office, etc.)

Management of virus protection and end point protection

Creating and updating detailed documentation on all hotel systems

Handle other system administration tasks and/or special projects as directed by the I.T. Director

Promote IT Security Policies and ensures implementation through regular staff training

Assessing and purchasing new and replacement hardware

Lead and lives the Arlo values and culture.

Perform all other job-related duties as requested.
REQUIREMENTS:
Diagnostic skills in relation to troubleshooting technical issues.

Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills required.

2-5 years of experience working in IT operations

Degree or Diploma in Information Technology field. Along with in depth knowledge of Microsoft Operating systems, Microsoft or Cisco certification.

Applicable Microsoft certifications: MCSA, MCTS or MCITP for Windows Server, MCDST for workstations

Experience leading and managing IT projects and rolling out IT infrastructures across various technologies

Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and phone systems

Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills

Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize

Outstanding ability to interact and communicate with all levels of end users

Outstanding ability to organize and prioritize technical services requests.

Outstanding ability to quickly learn new technologies.

Flexibility and agility is essential to this position.
