General Job Brief

The Recruitment Events Coordinator oversees admissions events and guest tours designed to drive enrollment through the guest experience. This position will work with the enrollment team to set the vision and will ensure an excellent experience through the hiring, training, and management of student admissions ambassadors, and the guest experience team. This position will oversee programming, planning, and registration up through execution on the day of the event. This position will work closely with other departments including but not limited to student life, resident life, academics, music, and athletics.

Duties, Tasks, Responsibilities

  • Hires, trains, and manages student admissions ambassadors
  • Collaborates with departments on campus as it relates to facility usage and availability
  • Plans, executes, and evaluates all special programs for the enrollment office
  • Plans, executes events for all admissions recruitment events
  • Oversees and campus individual and group visits
  • Manage admissions events mailbox
  • Manage registration process and communicate effectively to potential and registered visitors
  • Order product and manage inventory
  • Compile survey results and report relevant to group visits and their success
  • Manage group visit program budget
  • Supervise ambassadors and volunteers during events
  • Assist with coordinating admissions virtual events
  • Assist with on-campus summer events
  • Schedule appointments with athletics, music, academics and other essential stakeholders in the campus visit experience
  • Works with marketing to ensure promotion of events

Education and Experience (Classification is typically expected to possess.)

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
  • 2-5 years' experience in a higher education environment or field related to higher education,

administration or compliance

  • Commitment to the faith statement, mission, and purposes; and desires to be a role model for

students through an active Christian faith.

Knowledge (Classification is typically expected to possess.)

  • Knowledge of Microsoft word and excel

Ability and Skills (Classification is typically expected to possess or show potential of satisfactory

development when placed in the job.)
