Job Description

The Systems Implementation Manager will be responsible for managing the systems implementation team and managing the development, testing and implementation of technology projects. These responsibilities include managing strategic projects, managing ongoing innovation and automation of all technology platforms, overseeing the development and testing of solutions, and communicating to all relevant parties the status, issues, and implementation milestones.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage complex development projects including responsibility for project timelines, deliverables, and resource management during all project phases from requirements gathering through go-live and post deployment support.
  • Manages the implementation team members including goals, tasks, reviews, and escalated management of issues and roadblocks.
  • Formal and informal communication of status, issues, milestones, and progress with all constituents including executive management.
  • Protects the company by handling sensitive and protected business information with appropriate safeguards and confidentiality.
  • Manages the development of comprehensive technical specifications, use cases, test conditions, and training documentation to support the successful implementation and ongoing operation of initiatives and processes.
  • Communicates effectively and often with key business constituents and within the systems team.

Education & Training Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
  • Salesforce platform experience preferred
  • EMR Implementation experience preferred
  • 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager, Implementation Manager, or Consulting Manager delivering end-to-end systems solutions
  • Software development experience aross the entire systems lifecycle (requirements, design, build, test, implement, support)
  • Experience implementing integrations between platforms (Salesforce preferred)
  • Experience in Financial Services/Insurance and/or Healthcare/Life Sciences preferred

  • Ability to both work independently with minimal supervision and work effectively in a collaborative team environment
  • Analytical Ability - strong problem-solving skills, ability to multi-task, and a high degree of emotional intelligence
  • Communication - excellent written and oral communications skills, relationship focus, and strong technical and business acumen; ability to explain complex topics to a wide range of audiences with empathy, clarity and brevity
  • Project management – can manage and communicate multiple projects simultaneously
  • Planning/organizing — Prioritize and plan work activities and use time efficiently
  • Quality control/Attention to detail — Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness; monitor own work to ensure quality and apply feedback to improve performance
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Physical Effort & Working Conditions

Work is performed remotely (home office) or in a normal office setting in our Overland Park, KS headquarters with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards. Substantial time is spent working on a computer.
