Job Description

This position will be responsible for the procurement of materials for the plant. This person will ensure the constant supply of all items within the facility. Actively participate in all supply chain and logistic matters. This is a unique opportunity to help lead an effort to identify and implement savings opportunities and working capital improvements, support the Head of Supply Chain on sourcing projects and conduct the appropriate data analysis and reporting.

You will be responsible for ensuring that proper information is provided to the Head of Supply Chain to facilitate accurate and effective transaction processing.

Can perform purchasing, cost analysis and price modeling.

Ensure accurate information is entered into internal system for timely.

Proactively resolve issues (i.e., material shortages, quality issues, etc.) with vendors and internal customers utilizing organizational savvy and problem-solving skills

Experience in using SAP and Infor

This job focuses on:

  • Purchasing of tooling and technical equipment

  • Purchasing of raw materials

  • Purchasing of supplies

  • Must review contracts

  • Negotiate Terms

  • Ensure in stock position on all internal raw materials and supplies.
