Job Description

ARES is looking for individuals with experience in program and project scheduling to join our team supporting the Glenn Research Center. The Schedular will provide support to distribute, manage, and coordinate technical schedules for large scale and medium scale programs to include Integrated Management Plans (IMPs) and Integrated Master Schedules (IMSs). These scheduling analysts develop, coordinate, and maintain technical schedules of all types and sizes. Schedulers will also track schedule progress and develop custom reports for the customer. 

Job Description/Responsibilities

Develops, maintains, and coordinates technical schedules for large to medium scale projects from proposal level to detailed level schedules. Conducts schedule analysis and assessments to ensure schedules are structured properly with complete network logic, are capable of reporting critical path(s), and follow industry scheduling best practices. Tracks schedule progress and develops custom reports for the customers. Provides guidance and recommendations on schedule work-arounds and recovery plans for customers to make effective decisions. Analysis of hardware prime contractor’s schedules to ensure compliance with DCMA 14-point health check and NASA Best Practices. Shall be experienced with the implementation and management of integrated scheduling tools to support project control personnel in the integration of schedule
 and resource data through resource loaded schedules within an automated schedule
 management tool. Works as a critical member within a team environment. Analyzes budget
 and resource requirements for programs/projects in order to assure cost and schedule
 compatibility, and to manage impacts resulting from changes to project scope and resource
 requirements. Shall have a thorough understanding of EIA-748 standard EVM principles as
 they relate to schedule and technical performance measures.

 Education Requirements and Relevant Work Experience

 A BS/BA degree in business administration, finance, engineering or equivalent required from an accredited college or university with 10+ years of experience supporting government development and operational programs.
