Archbell Signs in the City of Norfolk is looking for a dependable person to fill an opening as an Executive Sales Assistant. Archbell Signs specializes in professional signage. Some examples are Monument Signs, Real Estate, Banners, Vehicle Graphics, Interior Signs and much more!

Executive Sales Assistant duties and essential job functions include:

  • Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the Company’s Core Values in all interactions with customer, co-workers, and venders
  • Act as administrative assistant to the Sales Manager or other designated management.
  • Complete the administrative needs of the Sales Department
  • Write up accurate and grammatically correct sales correspondence, including but not limited to emails, quotes, contracts, sales/work orders, and purchase orders
  • Make follow‐up calls to confirm an appointment or other sales correspondence
  • Track sales orders to ensure that they are scheduled and sent out on time
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management software
  • Demonstrated proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability
  • Ability to hold yourself accountable and achieve goals with limited direct supervision
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Assist with the administrative functions of Sales and Marketing events including assisting at the event, going on-site visits, printing programs, picking up supplies, etc.; may require working outside of normal office hours
  • Resolve any sales related issues with customers
  • Works on all trade accounts as directed by Sales & Marketing Manager
  • Follow all Company policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Must be fluent in English to a very high standard and possess strong communication skills, as a liaison with clients and colleagues and potential new clients is a large focus within the job; second language fluency especially Spanish is a plus.
  • Minimum of two years of relevant work experience in a professional office setting or a combination of relevant work and educational experience
  • An understanding of and appreciation for advertising sales
  • Any construction knowledge is a plus
  • Must be at least 21 year of age and have a valid U.S driver’s license and an insured vehicle that can be used for site visits and or meetings
  • Minimum of three years driving experience and a satisfactory driving record
  • Expert level of verbal and written communications
  • Ability to lift and carry 20 lbs.
  • Must be able to read a tape measure
  • Must be able to follow simple instructions
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple task and meet tight deadlines
  • Must show initiative and motivation in carrying out duties and making our clients happy
  • Must be able to produce quality work in a tight turnaround and sometimes stressful environment
  • Excellent customer service skills, you will be dealing directly with our clients and will represent Archbell Signs
  • This position is full time only, hiring will be strongly based on skills and abilities
