Job Description

Arcadia University invites applications for Adjunct Professors in the Department of Biology for the academic year 2021-22 (beginning August 30th, 2021). Teaching assignments are available for one or more sections of our General Biology lecture and/or laboratory, Human Anatomy laboratory, Comparative Anatomy and Physiology laboratory, Genetics laboratory, Microbiology laboratory, and Biochemistry laboratory.

Qualified candidates should either possess a Master's Degree or PhD Degree in a Biology-related discipline. PhD candidates nearing completion of their doctoral programs will also be considered. Teaching experience is highly preferred with an emphasis on close faculty-student interaction.

Adjunct Faculty instructors will work closely with a course coordinator to provide instruction and/or demonstration of biological concepts in the context of a specific course and/or its laboratory component.
