They employ over 5,000 workers in more than 65 facilities around the world.Our client is currently looking to hire a full-time Senior Program Planning & Controls Analyst in their Danbury, CT, location to directly support program managers by developing compliant Integrated master schedules (IMS). The ideal candidate will work with the technical community, operations community and program management to translate authorized customer requirements into the performance measurement baseline.
In this position, you will collaborate with program management and program finance to develop ETCs, EACs and variance reports. To maintain program IMS data, you will perform schedule configuration management. Working with program finance, the Senior Program Planning & Controls Analyst will analyze earned value monthly data to assess schedule variance (SV, SPI) and report on status and variances.
Preparation of Gantt, PERT and resource utilization charts to identify available slack/float and facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas is a big part of this role. The Senior Program Planning & Controls Analyst must ensure that management understands network logic, Gantt, milestone lists and resource information in the schedule. Risk analysis and risk planning, and performance of "what-if" scenarios are critical.
You will provide weekly/monthly project status updates, including earned value performance, in support ofThe ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:(1) Familiarity and experience with: GAO Schedule Assessment Guide; EIA-748 Standard for Earned Value Management Systems(2) Understanding of various contract types, i.e., cost plus, T&M, FFP; ability ensure that all requirements of the prime contract are understood.(3) Ability to work with program teams to ensure the schedule/program plan is executable (cost, schedule and technical requirements are fully integrated) and executed as planned.(4) Bachelor’s degree and related technical training with at least 8 years of directly-related experience (or equivalent combination of education, training and experience).Our client seeks a successful professional able to ensure the schedule/program plan is executable (cost, schedule and technical requirements are fully integrated) and executed as planned.Experience with the following is desired, and EVM knowledge would be a definite plus:(1) NDIA Planning & Scheduling Excellence Guide(2) DoD Earned Value Management Implementation Guide(3) NDIA Predictive Measures GuideIf you are team-oriented, creative and interested in advancing technology in support of customers, then apply now to join a diverse workforce and advance your career.
