Landscape Sprinkle Repair Tech (Lead): Do you enjoy working outdoors in the fresh air? Staying physically fit and active by exercising? Established landscape Systems Repair Company seeks the industries best career oriented individual(s) with experience diagnosing and repairing primarily residential estate sprinkler systems, low voltage lighting systems, water features and backflow testing and repair. We don’t do any landscaping.

Our ideal candidate(s) will enjoy working outdoors in fresh air – staying physically fit and active by exercising - keeping mentally sharp problem solving hydraulic and low voltage electrical issues - communicating directly with our customers. Our ideal candidate will have a landscaping background and a minimum of 2 years’ experience repairing landscape systems. The position involves a lot of one on one customer interaction (at a safe distance) so good people and communication skills are a big plus. Data entry skills are also needed (typing) as our techs invoice their work daily on laptops. Backflow certification is also a huge + but not required.
We are looking for people with landscaping backgrounds: Most of our techs started their careers in landscaping and we’re looking for quality people with landscaping backgrounds. Knowing the watering needs and names of local plants is a huge benefit but not required. Some of the Advantages we hold over landscape companies is we have state of the art diagnostic tools in all the trucks – you won’t have to beg your boss for the best equipment – we already have it. This includes universals remotes – wire tracers – amp meters – tone probes – valve actuators and acoustical leak detection equipment. Additionally our inventory system automatically restocks our trucks weekly which means you won’t be working out of 5 gallon home depot buckets. Lead techs attend the annual irrigation show in Vegas - keeping us on top of the newest products and tools the industry has to offer.
Compensation: Lead techs earn between $60 & $90 K + per year @ $25 to $35 per hour wage. Unlimited voluntary overtime is available throughout the Spring months allowing techs to heavily supplement their spring earnings. Family medical and vision is through Kaiser Medical (Used to be Group Health of WA ) – Dental is through Delta and vision is also included. Other benefits include 2 weeks of holiday pay – including a week off between Christmas and New Year’s. Two weeks of accrued paid vacation/ sick leave to start. Additional weeks of paid vacation/commission are earned off the sales and management of your trucks inventory. Commissions range from 2 to 6 weeks equivalent of pay. Possessing a backflow testing license is a huge plus ++++ and automatically pays more per hour but is not required. Lead techs are assigned a truck and pre-covid days had an assistant work with them. All of our repair trucks are highly organized and stocked with the best tools & parts the industry has to offer.
