Job Description We are looking for an effective office clerk/floater that has the ability to work diligently to help maintain smooth office operations. This position does not have a specific job assignment, but will be trained in all possible positions including, Records Clerk, Subpoena Clerk, Scheduling Clerk, etc. You will undertake a variety of activities in the office ranging from reviewing records for workers compensation/civil cases, answering the phone to basic bookkeeping.
You will be required to cover shifts for employees that are on vacations or call out and whenever additional staff is needed. You must be reliable and hardworking with great communication skills. The ideal candidate will be familiar with office equipment and procedures. Responsibilities Sort and distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail (envelopes, packages, etc.) Answer the phone to take messages or redirect calls to appropriate colleagues Utilize office appliances such as photocopier, printers etc.
and computers for word processing, etc. Assist in office management and organization procedures Perform other office duties as assigned Assist other departments as needed Skills Proven experience as office clerk or other clerical position Working knowledge of office devices and processes Very good knowledge of MS Office Excellent communication skills Very good organizational and multi-tasking abilities High school diploma Must type 45 wpm This position is full time: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Company Description Provider of Information Management on several levels: Records Retrieval, Investigations and Document Management.
