Job Responsibilities:

As a Used Car Reconditioning Technician, you will be experienced and aware of the latest automotive technologies and be a persistent problem solver. 

• Perform work specified on inspections and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including minor engine, minor transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc. to specification.
• Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs.
• Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisor.
• Inspect and test used vehicles and record findings so that necessary repairs can be made.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as an automotive technician (automotive mechanic).
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification a plus.
• Hold a valid driver’s license.
• Team oriented, flexible, high energy and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service.
• Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, and etc.
• Hours are Monday through Friday from 8am to 4:30pm, and every other Saturday 7am to 3pm.
