Assembler and Service Technician- Part Time/Supplemental $15/hr--
This position is expected to be 25-30 hours a week doing Amazon In-Home Assembly, Bicycle Assembly, and/or Office Depot In-Store Assembly and Merchandising.

This is a PART-TIME/SUPPLEMENTAL career opportunity with flexible assignments scheduled throughout the week. The In-Home Assembly work is scheduled in three-hour windows. You would have to be available for the entire window to receive work during this time. 8-11 AM, 11-2 PM, 2-5 PM, and 5-8 PM. The greater your availability the more work you may be able to receive. Most work orders are received between 2 and 8 PM, and all day on Saturday’s. Your availability must also be consistent week to week.
Compensation is paid by way of piece rate for all assembly work performed. Service work is paid on an hourly basis. For the first 60 days the pay is the greater of $15 per hour or piece rate. After 60 days the pay is productivity based (piece rate)
-Perform service call to provide general maintenance and assembly repairs for an office supply retailer
-Provide in-home assembly services to customers for an office supply retailer
-Assembly of single speed and multi-speed bikes, RTA furniture, office furniture (desks, bookshelves, filing cabinets, etc.) We also assemble physical fitness equipment, grills, and game tables. All employees must be able to build all types of these products.
Requirements and Qualifications:
-Must have reliable transportation w/valid driver’s license
-Must be able to successfully submit to a pre-employment background check and/or Drug Test.
-Must have your own tools (a bike stand is only required for bike assembly work) Apollo offers a Tool Purchase Program to all of its employees
-Must be open to local travel within 30 miles of your home
-Must have daily internet access for entering time and have ability to take and upload photos for project completion
-Must be mechanically inclined
-Drive time will be paid at your state’s minimum wage after driving 1 hour either to or from a job site.
-Mileage is reimbursed after 30 miles to or from your home and in between jobs at 25 cents per mile.
