Cloud Engineer

Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI required

Position

• As a Cloud engineer on our team, you’ll design and implement solutions for complex deployments in the Cloud using any of the major Cloud providers. Participate in architecture reviews of cloud designs. Work on green fields and pre-built deployments. Provide input on proper securing of services used in Amazon Web Services deployments. Design and deploy cloud infrastructure resources supporting ingest, storage, and analytic solutions using distributed technologies at scale. You’ll collaborate closely with fellow cloud architects and engineers. Whether modernizing legacy computing platforms and applications or building new ones from scratch, you’ll have the latest tech and brightest teammates to change unconventional warfare for the better. You Have

• Experience with design, deployment, and management of Cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP
• Experience with using or migrating continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) pipeline solutions or tools, including Jenkins, Git, or TeamCity
• Experience with designing, developing, deploying, or delivering using automation techniques or tools, including Ansible or Git
• Knowledge of cloud and virtualization-based technologies, including Docker, Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), VMware, or OpenShift
• Experience with troubleshooting Linux, including RHEL, UNIX, networking, scripting and automation, systems administration functions, or application troubleshooting
• Knowledge of foundational system administration principles and classified environment processes and Protocols
• Ability to work with engineering and development teams to perform root cause analysis
  

Nice if You Have

• Experience with communicating directly with software application development teams
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including EC2, S3, Systems Manager, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, and IAM
• Knowledge of Ubuntu, or CentOS with a focus on the web, including Apache or Nginx
• Experience with creating automation of deployment and/or configuration tasks with IaC tools including Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, or GitLab
• Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure, or GCP Certification
• Knowledge of protocols and technologies, including Microservices, SOA, HTTP, SSL/TLS, LDAP, JDBC, SQL, or HTML
