Senior Financial Analyst (Hybrid)

About the role:

Apixio is looking for a motivated and driven Sr. Financial Analyst who is excited to play a key role in our company's evolution. We are looking for a detail-oriented analyst who thrives in a collaborative, team-focused culture. You will work closely with the Manager of Finance, VP of Finance and CFO across a wide range of financial planning and strategic initiatives which will serve as the foundation of Apixio's growth. As our business continues to grow, you will work intimately with teams across the company.

This role reports directly to the VP of Finance. This is a highly visible role in the organization and an excellent opportunity for a finance professional to join a dynamic, high-growth startup environment and accelerate their development.

Who you are:

• You will analyze variances between actuals and forecasts, and use insights to drive meaningful action and communicate complex issues in a clear and concise way
• Support monthly update of internal company model, lead P&L-level cadences and coordinate with Manager of Finance and VP of Finance to support organizational decision making
• Provide leadership, collaboration, and input into the development and usage of internal dashboards that help Apixio's executive leadership team monitor important KPIs, business drivers, and trends
• Support all deliverables for the board of directors, including the preparation of the monthly financial update, board meeting materials, and quarterly updates
• Partner closely with Accounting during month-end close process to ensure accurate company-wide financial statement reporting
• Contribute to the evaluation and execution of M&A opportunities, investments and other strategic initiatives
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis support to finance and operations

What Knowledge, Skills & Abilities you bring to the table:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field or equivalent years of experience
• 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, or high-growth technology company in a finance capacity
• Passion and interest for the healthcare technology industry
• Advanced Excel modeling & analytical skills
• Ability to parse complex financial analysis into meaningful communications for business leaders
• A team player who is flexible and willing to help out wherever needed
