Job Description

The Children’s Home of Reading seeks a Full Time Residential Lead Clinician for our residential treatment facility providing treatment to male and female adolescents with emotional, behavioral & sexual issues. Responsibilities include individual, group & family therapy & daily participation in the therapeutic milieu. Direct supervision of team and co leadership (with other lead clinicians) of all Residential campus clinicians. Maintain caseload of 3-4 clients. Participate in leadership meetings and meetings with providers and managed care organizations. Help facilitate assignments and distribution of clinical client caseloads. Participate in interview and hiring process for new clinicians as well as providing new clinician orientation, training, and development. Co-facilitate bi-weekly clinical group supervision. Required to be on administration on call rotation. Position might require some night and weekend hours.

Education and Experience:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • MSW or MA in Clinical or Counseling related area required.
  • Minimum of two years clinical experience required.
  • LSW/LPC preferred.
  • Experience with residential programs & sex offender therapy preferred.

Additional Requirements:

The candidate must pass a Criminal Record History Clearance, FBI and Child Abuse History Clearance, as well as possess a valid PA driver's license and maintain a good driving record throughout employment. The candidate must pass a Physical & Drug Screening & possess the ability to attend and successfully complete all sponsored training.
