Job Description

The Children’s Home of Reading seeks Full-Time Housekeeping/Cook Assistant to perform housekeeping duties, serve meals, prepare food, cook and perform kitchen duties in a facility serving adolescents with mental health and behavioral issues. Must be available Monday through Friday 11am - 7:30pm. Weekend shifts also available (6am-2pm). Cooking or food preparation experience preferred.

The position requires a responsible person with ability to follow directions, pay attention to detail, and work independently. A High School diploma or G.E.D. is required. Must be detailed, conscientious and courteous. Must be available to work nights and weekends.

Additional Requirements: The candidate must pass a Criminal Record History Clearance, FBI and Child Abuse History Clearance, as well as possess a valid PA Driver's License.
