Apex Systems is hiring for a large IT company within the Baltimore, MD area for an On Call Mobile Installation Technician.

This is a part time position we are looking for candidates with the flexibility to work around 15 hours a week.
This is a driving position and all applicants must have their own vehicle for use and be comfortable driving 2-4 hours from home each day.
Pay is offered on a weekly basis + mileage reimbursement + cell phone reimbursement
Contract Only: February 2019 -- May 2019/June 2019
What is the job?
+ Apex Systems has a 5+ month opportunity available for a Hardware Installation Travel Technician
+ You will be responsible for visiting assigned locations within a local area and preforming desk side IT support
+ One major part of this is that you will have to call into each location 48 hours ahead in order to notify the office owner.
+ This is a driving position and you will be required to drive a 3-4 hours radius
+ Candidates will be replacing desktops and batteries in existing UPS systems
+ Uninterruptible power supply (UPS) is a device that allows a computer to keep running for at least a short time when the primary power source is lost. It also provides protection from power surges.
+ The expectation is that you have good attendance, professional behavior, open lines of communication
+ There will be hands on training classes where our client will teach you how to repair and upgrade the technologies that are in que for this year.
+ You will be flown out Bloomington, IL for 3 days of training at the Headquarters
