Summary: Position is responsible for oversight of all print and mailing fulfillment requirements and processes including defining operational efficiencies, development and reporting of department KPIs and inventory management. This position will be the primary owner of day to day processes that involve vendor relationships. Responsible for hiring, orienting, training, assigning, coaching, mentoring, counseling and performance oversight for the Fulfillment staff.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Works closely with stakeholders during the development of fulfillment pieces to ensure alignment of overall objectives and key requirements and translation of those requirements to applicable vendors Quality resolutions and direct contact with print vendors on daily status updates and inventory Stay current on trends and technology for the continued improvement of printing and distributing services Collaborate with marketing to ensure adherence to brand guidelines in all materials and collateral produced Develop and adhere to the most efficient and effective processes to deliver projects on time and within budget Provide recommendations and obtain internal expenditure approval for best format, economic order quantity, fulfillment method and document estimates In collaboration with the Vendor Management team, hold print vendors accountable to contractual metrics including SLAs Documents operational and technical workflows as appropriate Promotes individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory/continuing education and skills competency; supports department-based goals which contribute to the success of the organization; serves as preceptor, mentor and resource to less experienced staff Develops and maintains departmental policies and procedures and desktop procedures according to current business needs as well as industry and regulatory requirements Provide escalation support for business or revenue impacting performance or delivery issues as assigned through the creation of remediation plans; Track and support ongoing management of outstanding escalations to final resolution Consults and coordinates with various internal departments, external resources, business partners, and government agencies as appropriate Demonstrates knowledge of, and carefully follows all applicable federal and state compliance requirements and regulations.
Report on departmental KPIs on a monthly and quarterly basis including action plans as appropriate Perform on site vendor visits as needed Candidate Qualifications Education Education: Bachelor's Degree or at least 7 years commensurate experience is required; Bachelor's Degree in business or health care related field preferred Licenses/Certification: None required Ability to work from home with appropriate internet access and a quiet and private work space.
