Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Application Engineer to join our team. This role will be responsible for providing technical support to our customers and sales teams of our Resistor products. As the technical expert, you will have the opportunity to assist with training programs, coordinate non-standard projects with engineers, promote new design-ins, and develop and promote the existing and new non-standard projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage nonstandard projects with the support of other Field Design Engineers (FDEs) in North America and our Europe based Application Engineers to maximize the business according to the division guidance.
• Provides, presents, and interprets design, application, and service information
• Travel to customers (usually with FDEs) to promote new product designs. Travel 25%.
• With input from next level, develop product specifications and applications usable by a specific customer.
• Explore the business feasibility of general marketing initiatives.
• Drawing creation, AER# pattern writing, product/projects training. Follow up after on-going projects.
• Follow up after special projects with the relevant FDE or the customer and to ensure that we provided the best solution based on the electrical specifications from the customer and based on the analog circuits of the project.
• Develop new products with the production and process engineering and run evaluation tests.
• Manage projects of special products, which require the involvement of engineering, R&D, Q.A. and production and coordinate the project between the factory and the end customer.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Proficiency
• 3-5 years experience with working knowledge of electronics product production planning, manufacturing methods, procedures, and cost reduction techniques (Military/Aerospace experience is a plus).
• Ability to create productive relationships with customers and provide solutions.
• Proactive in managing key interface relationships within the company.
