Senior Program Analyst

Government Program Analyst duties and responsibilities (immediate opening!)

(reference any previous Program Analyst experience on your resume)

(currently a virtual position, but that may change pending client requirements)

(5+ years experience)

· Identify bottlenecks, redundancies, vulnerabilities and opportunities for enhanced efficiency or effectiveness using tools to perform problem determination and root cause analysis and make recommendations to solve identified problems.

· Identify sources of data and opportunities to develop online dashboards to deliver timely information to leadership and improve reporting capabilities.

· Assist in the planning, design, development and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), guidance, and policies.

· Monitor, track, and report on the progress of key activities including rulemakings, legislative mandates, recommendations issued by the Office of Inspector General, Government Accountability Office and the National Transportation Safety Board, and organizational performance goals and measures.

· Update and maintain applicable databases, reports, spreadsheets, and other forms of communication providing the status of these activities to ensure the information is current and accurate.

· Identify ways to transform reports into dynamic dashboards assist in managing OPA’s Sharepoint and Microsoft Teams sites in concert with Sharepoint Administrators and applicable IT staff.


Program Analyst experience requirements

Program Analysts may come from a variety of backgrounds including private industry and government service. The experience requirements may include more than 3 years of experience with project management or program analysis.

· Education: Minimum of a bachelor’s degree
