Job Description

 

Job Summary:

 

Provide superior customer service on Anthony products. Handle warranty claims and resolve customer service technical and non-technical calls.  Research warranty and failure reports to determine the right action needed to resolve customer issues.  Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions and non-conformances. Fulfill warranty replacement orders for customers, end-users and Field Service Technicians.  Assign site visit service calls. Interact with customers in a courteous and respectful manner.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist and troubleshoot all incoming inquiries: phone and email
  • Determine claim validity against warranty terms and conditions
  • Identify and Order replacement parts needed to fulfill warranty claims
  • Determine if service calls are needed
  • Assign contractors to site visit service calls by location and technical difficulty of repair
  • Coordinate site visit service calls with Sales, Field Service, Contractors, and Customers
  • Input and schedule site visit information, maintain site visit log
  • Track parts deliveries and follow up with contractors on schedules and execution
  • Keep customers informed on planned and completed actions during claims resolution
  • Close out service tickets when contractors are finished with jobs
  • Contact original service requestors when jobs are complete and review findings
  • Maintain benchmark for service completion
  • Assist with research and screening of new Service Contractors
  • Participate in internal Corrective Action groups as needed to provide detailed information and improve overall quality of outgoing product
  • Track warranty and labor costs
  • Maintain service level agreement with customers
  • Occasionally may be required travel to field site to participate in corrective action
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Basic Qualifications: 

  • High School Diploma or GED (Associate degree (AA) or equivalent from 2-year college or technical school preferred)

 

Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Explorer, SharePoint
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
  • Ability to read manufacturing drawings
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • 2+ years direct customer assistance or customer service B2B
  • Ability to occasionally work overtime and/or weekends when required
  • AS400 or other DOS-based ERP experience preferred

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit and stand for prolonged period of time
