Financial Accountant The Financial Accountant will assist the Commercial Revenue Accounting department in the monthly financial statement close process as well as our monthly efforts to ensure the integrity of the General Ledger.

The ideal candidate will be oriented to the health care industry and be exposed to practical application of Accounting concepts, multiple system interfaces, and have the opportunity to work with other Finance areas such as Treasury, Cash Operations, and Cash Balancing. The Financial Account is responsible for providing the company with accurate and timely controls of general ledger account reconciliation's and the preparation of journal entries. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: - Assists with monthly, quarterly, annual and ad-hoc financial reporting and analysis.

- Prepares accounting report schedules, monthly journal entries and account reconciliations. - Reviews and verifies accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications assigned to various records. - Coordinates accounting matters with other departments, locations and divisions.

Qualifications: - Requires a BS/BA; - BS/BA in Accounting or Finance required. - 1-2 years directly related experience preferred. - Or, any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

- Strong computer skills. - Must have experience with Microsoft Office Suite with an intermediate level of Excel. - Good organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
