This role reports to the Chief Marketing Officer of IngenioRx and will lead the team responsible for developing and executing a brand marketing strategy that supports the positioning of the IngenioRx brand in the pharmacy management space and ensures a consistent, compelling representation of the brand for this new, $4B+ business.
This is a strategic marketing role and, as such, demands a strong understanding of marketplace trends and changes, the role of marketing data and analytics (e.g. voice of the customer/voice of market programs), creating business value through branding, brand portfolio management and architecture, and brand positioning and messaging. The Director, Brand Marketing is a creative and strategic thinker who strives to deliver breakthrough marketing programs in an effort to drive results.
You will be accountable for developing and driving a best in class team and helping the business achieve its annual growth targets. Specific areas of focus for this role include: Driving all branding and storytelling across all IngenioRx owned platforms (e.g. Ingenio-Rx.com, the IngenioRx client experience center.
Ensuring the appropriate application/representation of the IngenioRx brand and brand experience across all stakeholder (e.g. member, client, provider) touch points. Managing and rationalizing the current and future state IngenioRx brand portfolio (e.g.
product brands) Coordinating with other enterprise partners to ensure that the IngenioRx brand is appropriately aligned with any other Anthem, Inc. brands, as well as Blue Cross Blue Shield Association brand guidelines. Operating as both an individual contributor as well as a team leader to provide day-to-day direction to team members and service partners working on shared projects.
In collaboration with leadership, allocating resources (people and budget) to priority initiatives that help IngenioRx deliver on its growth agenda. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Positioning/Messaging: Be the steward of the overarching IngenioRx value proposition and messaging platform. Work with fellow marketers to ensure that the translation of the value proposition for different markets remains true to the brand positioning and strategic core of the business.
Experience Design: Align with overall business goals and ensure every consumer touch point is in line with the business objectives. Work with key members of the operations team to ensure that the service experience aligns to the IngenioRx brand promise. Voice of Customer/Voice of Market: Manage all voice of customer and voice of market activities for IngenioRx.
Leverage enterprise resources and/or stand up new capabilities related to client and member satisfaction, brand health, competitive and market intelligence, custom market research, etc. Brand Management: Monitor IngenioRx brand standards and ensure that the IngenioRx brand is properly applied. Manage the portfolio of IngenioRx product brands and partner with product development to enforce brand portfolio strategy.
Partner with Anthem's enterprise brand team where appropriate. Brand Assets: Manage all of IngenioRx's core brand assets including, but not limited to, our B2B marketing website and our Client Experience Center. BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired: 10+ years of strategic marketing/brand marketing experience in the B2B space - preferably in the healthcare industry Have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and in a team environment Strong written and verbal communication skills Proven ability to collaborate across boundaries Intermediate analytic skills LOCATION Ideally located in Chicago, IL but will consider other IngenioRx hub locations for the right candidate.
Must be office based. Will not consider WFH or remote candidates. EDUCATION Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, Business or other related field is required.
