(Pharmacy) Account Service Coordinator - Little Rock, AR #PS22600

The Account Service Coordinator is responsible for providing advanced customer service representation for AR Medicaid, Summit Community Care.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Provides both on-site and off-site customer service, which may include interpreting plan design, researching and resolving phone and written inquiries
  • Resolves complex claims, benefit, and enrollment issues
  • Performs routine benefit surveillance to assure benefits are working correcting low claim reject volumes
  • Coordinates training sessions; and on-site facility visits
  • Assure successful implementation of programs
  • Benefit mandates
  • System change
  • Interfaces with operations to ensure smooth delivery of services
  • Makes recommendations for improvements to meet customers' expectations
  • Develop and implement communications to pharmacies, prescribers and members as necessary to improve member and provider experience and reduce cost
  • Support the development of new web content to improve the member and provider experience
  • Compile information and support pharmacy program updates to leadership, including but not limited to: annual planning meetings, quarterly business reviews, biweekly trend meetings
  • Assure appropriate access for health plan staff to RX tools

  • Must demonstrate proficiency in policy/benefit communication, ability to communicate messages pertaining to programs and systems in a way members can understand.
  • Must demonstrate proficiency in clinical/technical communication to business leaders, an ability to communicate messages pertaining to programs and systems using data and other details in a way business leaders can understand.
  • Must demonstrate proficiency as a key participant in program development, where the program seeks to improve clinical outcomes, quality, cost or other measure
  • Must demonstrate proficiency in project management, tracking individual performance as well as project performance
  • Must demonstrate superior organization skills, able to compile a large volume of information and place in an easily understood format for others to access
  • Requirements:

  • Requires a BA/BS; minimum 3 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background
  • Experience managing business operations and/or customer relationship
  • Certification as a Pharmacy Technician, highly preferred
  • Proficiency in MS excel, Power Point, Outlook
  • Approximately 5% travel
