JOB OVERVIEW

The Sales Administrator supports the sales team by generating quotes from customer inquiries in Saleforce and providing exceptional customer service. This position interacts with other departments in the facility to obtain answers to support questions from customers. The SA Handles all customer issues and inquiries and ensures coordination with the associated outside sales representative.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Responsibility for quotes creation for opportunities supporting the Sales managers
  • Open and maintain customer accounts by recording account information
  • Recommend potential products or services to management by collecting customer information and analyzing customer needs
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed
  • Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication
  • Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
  • Handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits and follow up to ensure resolution
  • Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
  • Resolve customer complaints via phone, email, mail or social media
  • Answer questions about warranties or terms of sale
  • Compile reports on overall customer satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Proven customer support experience
  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
  • Familiarity with CRM (Salesforce) systems and practices. Proficiency in Saleforce will be needed to perform this position.
  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of situations
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
