Antenna Research Associates, Inc. (ARA) has a 60-year history designing and manufacturing antennas and sub-systems to support C5ISR applications within the EW/SIGINT, Commercial and Military Communications, Satellite Communications and RADAR Markets; for Government Agencies (PEO offices) and Tier 1 Primes world-wide.


POSITION SUMMARY

Assemble and test electromechanical systems and components following specifications and using hand tools and power tools.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Assemble and wire, using schematics, complete electro-mechanical assemblies forming all necessary cabling, wire and routing per drawings

• Solder and crimping of mechanical assemblies

• Ability to test assemblies using tools such as network analyzers, signal generators

• Keep work area clean and organized to present a professional workplace environment

• Other duties as assigned.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required

Experience: 2 years of work-related skill, knowledge, or experience

Other Requirements:

· Mechanical assembly concepts in performing assembly to schematics

· Knowledge of use, repair, and maintenance of machines and tools.

· Ability to read drawings and bill of materials.

· Ability to lift 50lbs and be on their feet most of the day.
