Job Description

Since 1947, Antenna Products has been designing and manufacturing antennas and antenna systems for military and defense, government, aviation, transportation and wireless infrastructure industry segments. Antenna Products is hiring at our 100,000+ square foot facility in Mineral Wells, Texas.

  • Position parts for assembly by following engineering drawings.
  • Fasten parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, adhesives or other fasteners.
  • Knowledge of most hand tools, including electrical tools.
  • Operate drill presses, riveting machines, crimp machine, various other machines. Solder components and cables
  • Build assemblies from various electronic components
  • Assist in production testing of RF equipment
  • Use cable strippers, both manual and automated
  • Lifting, pulling, moving, 30+ pounds daily.
  • Lays out, builds, tests, troubleshoots, repairs and modifies developmental and production electronic components, parts, equipment and systems.
  • Assembles experimental circuitry or complete prototype mode.
  • Recommends changes in circuitry or installation specifications to simplify assembly and maintenance.
  • Sets up standard test apparatus or devices test equipment and circuitry to conduct functional, operational, environmental, and life test to evaluate performance and reliability of prototype or production model.
  • Analyzes and interprets test data
  • Adjust, calibrates, aligns and modifies circuitry, components and records effects on unit performance.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to read and understand documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to add, subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure.
  • Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with variables in real time situations.
  • Basic problem-solving skills.
  • Work quickly, efficiently and independently.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Quick learning ability.
  • 6-12 months related experience or equivalent education.
  • Ability to read and comprehend engineering drawings (blueprints), customer specifications, procedures and correspondence.
  • Must be able to solder and be able to get certified. Knowledge of hand tools such as crimp machines, drill press, cable strippers, riveting machines, calipers, soldering iron, etc.
  • Ability to operate and interpret results from an analyzer.
  • Ability to use specific instruments related to the department.
