We are a building materials distributor, offering an innovative product line and support services to the architectural, engineering, and construction industries. We are seeking a Sales Director to join the company leadership team that is agile, strategy-minded and goal-motivated to oversee our local and remote sales teams. Base pay and commission package: $135,000 to $150,000+ per year.
Directing company sales operations through management of remote and local sales teams in order to achieve international sales goals. Includes regular travel to regional offices and key markets/meetings.
Directing the strategy and operations for specification creation throughout North American markets.
Developing positive, open relationships with key customers, firms, and project teams.
Overseeing sales forecasting.
Overseeing effective use of company CRM.
Overseeing the management of Independent Sales Rep network.
Assisting sales team in closing contracts.
Collaborating on and maintaining company strategy, goals, and budgeting.
Various other tasks
Reporting on various metrics/data.
Managing customer loyalty program.
Attending selected conventions; convention preparation and follow-up.
Presenting in-person and webinar product demonstrations and other educational content.
Assisting with business development needs of international projects and partner coordination.
Ongoing analysis of of sales process to streamline sales cycle.
Researching industry trends and latest news for the Architectural, Engineering, Construction, and Building Product industries.

Your education and experience includes:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience relating to sales.
10 years in a sales role with ample experience in leading a sales team.
Relevant experience with the construction and/or design industry highly preferred.
Continued education relevant to sales, soft-skill development, and/or construction industry trends.
