Janitor

Annovex Pharma is seeking a highly motivated self-starter to join our 503b outsourcing company as a full-time Janitor. The Janitor is responsible for maintaining the internal appearance of the facility. This role works independently to complete a detailed list of daily functions that include high-level cleaning/disinfecting of sterile cleanrooms as well as trash removal, restocking of disposable items, mopping, and wiping down of surfaces in the pharmacy floor, offices, bathrooms, and common areas.

Responsibilities

Successful candidates will:

• Maintain constant monitoring of cleanliness to ensure company standards are met.
• Communicate in a courteous and professional manner with staff and visitors.
• Assist with organizing storage areas
• Be able to lift up to 50lbs.
• Be able to stand for extended periods of time while in constant movement and physical activity
• Ensure spaces are prepared for the next day by taking out trash, tidying furniture and dusting surfaces.
• Sweep and mop floors and vacuum rugs.
• Wash and sanitize toilets and sinks.
• Clean and wipe down surfaces to disinfect.
• Clean windows, mirrors and partitions.
• Ensure warehouse is kept clean, tidy and hazard free.
• Help to manage cleaning supply inventory.
• Perform other tasks or special projects as necessary.
• Have proven experience as custodian, janitor, or similar role.
• Have knowledge of standard cleaning methods and procedure.
• Be able to work independently or in a team.
• Be dependable in attendance and job performance. Good verbal communication skills.
• Cleanroom experience a plus
• Be familiar with cGMP requirements
• Train according to cGMP rules for warehouse and clean room
• Be comfortable using cleaning agents and wearing appropriate PPE

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
• Custodial Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
• Experience working in a pharmacy/healthcare environment
