Physicians Assistant (PA-C) - Licensed in Michigan *Applicant must be licensed in the State of Michigan* We are seeking a Physician's Assistant to join our team! You will provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management for the patients of our outpatient private practice, which primarily offers mental health counseling services to patients ages 6-83+. You will be open to learning Spravato (intranasal esketamine) process, protocol, and treatment for patients with TRD and Depression with suicidality. What we provide: • General administrative support with scheduling, insurance/billing, and record requests • A collaborating physician • Healthy work culture • Collaborative team environment Our providers treat routine mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma, ADHD, and Autism. Persistently acute psychiatric patients are screened out or referred out due to the limitations of a private practice setting. Job type: As you build your caseload, this will be a part-time hourly position. Once a caseload is built, this will be a full-time hourly position (32-40 hours per week). Compensation: $51 per hour Location: Hybrid Benefits: • Positive work culture • Cohesive & fun teammates • 3 weeks of PTO for FT staff • 9 paid holidays • Medical • Dental • Vision • 401k with % employer match • Short-Term Disability • Clinical work based on your own individual clinical strengths • Clinical growth through consultation • Collaboration with Psychiatric Collaborator Responsibilities: • Assess for treatment-resistant depression and/or suicidal ideation for Spravato Treatment • Assess patient mental health through psychiatric intake evaluation and physical examination • Provide psychiatric medical treatment to patients • Educate patients on wellness along with mental and physical health practices/maintenance • Collaboration and coordination of services with treating mental health providers, both internal and external, as needed • Timely follow-up with requests for return appts, prescription questions/refills • Use technology and electronic platforms to communicate, schedule, complete progress notes, and e-prescribe through the Practice EHR • Work with a dynamic team focused on cohesiveness and positive work culture • Complete documentation in a timely manner • Must be available to work in person at our Ann Arbor and/or Canton office locations Qualifications: Applicants must have a current Michigan Physician Assistant License verifiable through LARA.
