The Schwarzman Animal Medical Center, the world's largest non profit animal hospital is seeking a full time Emergency Services Coordinator which will be responsible for providing clerical support to the Emergency Services. SHIFT: Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm, Every other week Tues – Saturday 9 - 5 The Primary Care Coordinator works directly with the Primary Care Dept and their clients to ensure a coordinated patient care and communication experience before, during, and after all consultation appointments and procedures. Coordinator acts as a point of contact for Primary Care clients to help them navigate and access AMC services while providing concierge level support. Skills Required: · Minimum of 2 years Veterinary/Human Med Clerical experience · Minimum of 2 years customer service in a professional setting · Excellent written and verbal communication skills · Well organized and the ability to multitask · Ability to interact with all levels of staff, clients and veterinarian practices Specific Duties and Responsibilities: Answer incoming calls to service phone Schedule and audit appointments, procedures and surgeries Coordinate internal referrals for Primary Care clients Confirm appointments and manage wait list Register, check in and check out clients when PCS moves to the third floor. Ensure outside medical records and diagnostics are available prior to appointment Assist with Travel Certificates Participate in Client Retention activities Other duties as deemed necessary Employment Type: Full Time Years Experience: 3 - 5 years Salary: $21 - $27 Hourly Bonus/Commission: No
