Job Description

Anika Systems Incorporated is looking for a passionate and talented Intelligent Automation (IA) Architect join our expanding Federal team. We are a fast-growing woman-owned small business providing innovative IT solutions for federal government agencies. This opportunity is 100% remote.

The Intelligent Automation Architect provides technology direction, ensures project implementation compliance, and utilizes technology research to innovate, integrate, and manage technology solutions. As a Technology Architect, you will significantly contribute to identifying best-fit architectural solutions for one or more projects; you will collaborate with some of the best talent in the industry to create and implement innovative high-quality solutions, participate in Sales and various pursuits focused on our clients' business needs. This role is considered part of the Business Unit Leadership team and may mentor Junior Architects and /or development team members.

Responsibilities:

Lead and collaborate with team members to deliver RPA and ML solutions including but not limited to RPA implementation (UiPath), data analytics and analysis, ML model training

Partner with business teams to define new techniques areas where ML and RPA can be leveraged

Work with multiple stakeholders to deliver automated workflows in a timely fashion

Provide feedback to product and development teams to improve our in-house tools

Regularly communicate status updates to stakeholders and senior leadership and present at Executive meetings as needed.

Document process, procedures, and training materials for staff and stakeholders

Attend daily stand-up and periodic team meetings

Background Profile:

Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, etc. - and 7+ years of professional experience to have gained strong mathematical and data analysis skills and a solid understanding of data types and structures

Knowledge of cloud-based deployments and leveraging RPA solutions in SaaS based systems

Strong hands-on experience working with and implementing UiPath

Experience with version control such as GIT, Subversion, Team Foundation

Ability to understand large scale software & system architecture

Highly skilled communicator - able to clearly articulate and translate complex technical and business concepts amongst a variety of stakeholders

Leadership experience - hiring and managing a small team in a player-coach model.

Experience in one of the following programming languages: Python, C#, .NET, R, SQL, and JavaScript

Experience with Agile tools, Jira, Trello, Pivotal Tracker

Understanding of Continuous integration, testing, deployment & release methodologies

Understanding of Computer Vision

Desired / Nice-to-have:

Experience with Python ML tools: Keras, Jupyter Notebooks, Pandas, scikit-learn, Flask, OpenCV, Tesseract, and Numpy

Experience in Federal Sector
